When Bill and Hillary Clinton were in the white house, the gold from Fort Knox was taken North to a foundry next to a Tungsten mine. According to rumors, Gold clad tungstan bars replaced the real gold bars that were in Fort Knox.. When several bars were given to Hong Kong for payment of debt, they tried to drill into the bars. Gold is soft and easy to drill. Tungstan is very hard and cannot be drilled easily. I wonder if Hong Kong ever got their gold?
